Established local company Triple distilled had always wanted to run a bar out of the listed art deco building in Foregate Street. When the building became available the former bank offered the ideal spot to develop an experience led environment, Tonic bar.
Exciting, yet easy; enjoyed in a socially vibrant atmosphere. The design looked to retain many of the original features found in the building and involved working closely with the listed building officer to restore the building and allow its historical value to once again be appreciated to its fullest potential.
Just one of its striking features involved the introduction of a bar skylight bringing natural light deep into the building for a light airy space for customers enjoyment throughout the day.
